Since founding The Miller Group in 1998, Jerry Miller has guided the growth of The Miller Group and its affiliated companies as Owner and CEO.  Through Jerry’s leadership, he has created a business platform, vision, and entrepreneurial spirit launching the Company into a premiere Southeastern Virginia commercial real estate development company, construction, and asset management firm. A 1977 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Jerry served seven years as a Surface Warfare Officer.  Jerry Co-Founded Earl Industries in 1985 leading the company through many years of success and ultimately to its sale to General Dynamics in 2012.   Jerry is best known for discovering and pioneering innovative business ventures that promote growth in local and regional economies. Moreover, as principal, he actively contributes and supports philanthropies across the Commonwealth. He is currently CEO of Fairlead Integrated, The Miller Group, Trident Civil, and Balicore Construction.
